Dale E. Fage
Senior Associate, International Contingency Operations

Dale has more than 40 years’ experience operating in post-conflict and similar environments, both as a U.S. Army Special Forces officer and as a program manager overseeing large and complex programs ($500M+) in such locations as Africa, Central Asia, the Balkans, and the Middle East. He received his B.S. from California State University at Fullerton, and an M.Ed. from the University of North Florida. In addition, he holds numerous certifications, including Project Management Professional and Certified Plant Engineer.

He has particular expertise in risk analysis, risk management (including security), and logistics. He is highly proficient in training and organizational development, and he has both overseen the development and implementation of new organizational procedures and has authored numerous guides for program managers.

After retiring from the U.S. Army, Dale held a variety of senior positions in both industry and non-governmental organizations. He was Project and Operations Manager for the International Conference on Former Yugoslavia; Director of the Program Management Office for the American Red Cross Biomedical Headquarters; and senior on-the-ground U.S. representative on the African Union Ceasefire Mission in Darfur. In industry, he held a variety of senior line and staff positions, including service as Senior Director for a strategic business unit at DynCorp International, where his duties included service as security advisor to U.N. mission in Somalia as well as support to the U.N. Assistance Mission in Afghanistan. Later, he joined AECOM Government Services, where he was program manager of the $900M Biological Threat Reduction Integrating Contract in Kazakhstan.
